Making Exit Interviews Count

What Is An Employee Exit Interview?

Before an individual leaves the company, an exit interview (EI) is conducted to learn what the organization can do better to keep its best employees. It's a crucial step in the entire offboarding procedure, and HR normally coordinates it in some way.

 Purpose of effective EI

A strategic EI program identifies organizational issues, provides information on the competitive environment, and indicates what employees are thinking.  figure 01 shows the main goals of a effective EI.

  3. Exit interviews should be conducted by a neutral third party, such as a human resources representative, to put the employee at ease and to encourage honest responses. If an exit interview is conducted by a departing employee's direct supervisor, that employee may be unwilling to be candid. great work.
